Legitimate Medical Use

Winstrol is used to treat reappearing swelling due to an inherited condition. It can also be prescribed for low blood counts that are a result of bone marrow failure.

Side Effects

Liver toxicity can occur with the abuse of winstrol. The drug can also cause joint pain, the development of breast tissue in men, acne and water retention.

Warning signs requiring medical attention

Signs of liver toxicity include a darkening of urine, vomiting, abdominal pain and skin or eyes turning yellow.
